Second of two murals at Casa Montaña Rusa. COLIBRI is the larger of the murals and spans a transitional indoor/outdoor entry sequence. Named after the hummingbirds that take flight from the left edge of the mural. In conversation with the decorative concrete blockwork on the house, this mural picks up on the arrow pattern as an organizing principle. Bright colors and bold patterns resonate with the blue jalousie windows and surrounding flora against a grey backdrop. House design by bigprototype in Rincon, Puerto Rico.
Sarah worked with Leticia Pardo on this mural.
